March 2017 throw back to my first small group private for Aria Yoga Co.  🙌🏼💛
When I decided to start my own business I honestly had no idea what I was getting myself into. I just knew I wanted to expand the reach of yoga beyond the studio and share the truly life changing benefits I’d experienced through yoga with others.

I’ve been so blessed to work with so many truly amazing clients, many of whom I now consider friends, and so many innovative companies who trust us to set up yoga mats in between cubicles, create zen spaces in conference rooms, and breathe mindfully at construction sites.

But running your own business isn’t all love & light & rainbows. I’ve had to wear many hats - some well, some not so well (balance sheets I’m looking at you). The highs are super high and exciting while the lows leave you ugly crying in public - like on the red line (thank God for sunglasses) and at brunch (talk about awkward).

I literally would not be here today were it not for so so many people along the way. So in the spirit of gratitude this week, I wanted to thank everyone who’s made Aria possible - our teachers for supporting our vision, our clients, my co-founder Sid Govindan for believing in our mission and without whom our company would not exist, Lauren Darien for her unwavering support and dedication, our investors (particularly my mom who always supports me 110%), and the countless others who have shared their business acumen, contacts, and cheered us on from the sidelines. My heart hurts (in a good way). Thank you!!
